I hate the Yankees....but I love baseball.....Jeter epitomizes what's great about the game...he's one of the great players of all time of any sport...

Yeah, Biggio did it years ago is right. Jeter did it yesterday and did it with a HR and went 5 for 5 and when all is said and done, have more hits than Biggio. Jeter is also a first ballot HOF entry and, plays on the best MLB Baseball team in the world! Dont be so bitter.

Agreed. I can't remember a Cubs season I've been paying less attention to than this year's. At least there's other interesting baseball being played...

I would have kept the ball. It was a 3,000 hit ball. It could have been a single, double (inside the park), or triple an no fan would have had a chace to catch it. But, it was a HR and the first Yankee to do it.
