KW Clubsport coilover suspension for EDC E9x M3

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
I am parting out my car and looking to trade my EDC KW Clubsport coilover suspension for a stock EDC E9x M3 competition package (ZCP) suspension plus cash.

The retail price for a new kit is $3,895.

My asking price is $2200 minus cost of your suspension in trade. Preference will be given to Southern California locals who can perform a swap at European Auto Source in Anaheim, CA.

Photos of the installed system are shown here. Not flattering because components are dirty, but there does not appear to be any damage. Please let me know if you see a better price elsewhere. I will match anyone's price. Thanks!

KW Clubsport for EDC cars or non-EDC cars? If you guys can find a comparable suspension (EDC) at a lower price, and can send sales thread link to me as proof, I would be happy to adjust my pricing.

I may be mistaken, but that set is non-EDC (did not see the EDC-specific parts).

The pic you found was to show the difference in shaft size (non-EDC has a smaller shaft). The one on the left is a three-way adjustable and the one on the right is a two-way adjustable unit. It's explained later in that thread (http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=6):

I hope the pictures didn't confuse you. The non-EDC was a 3-way. The EDC shock was a 2-way. I was only trying to show you the difference between the stems.
There are three different part numbers for the regular Clubsports. One for non-EDC, and two for EDC (one with and one without the EDC cancellation module, since some people code out the EDC light). I believe they all look the same with respect to the shocks/struts/springs, except the size of the shaft in the rear on the non-EDC model is smaller.

Thank you for that clarification. You are right about EDC and non-EDC suspensions both being grey in color.

But being grey in color does not an EDC suspension make. I see no hard confirmation on that thread that the kit was for EDC cars. It certainly does not have the code isolation modules in those photos. Please educate me.

Just sell them for what you want good luck with your sale. No
Need to be educated when your selling them. But people on this forum will not be paying 2900 for suspension that averages 2k used.

Guys, please. I do not wish to taint my thread with petty arguments over price points. I merely asked that valid proof of competitive sales threads be provided.

As you may imagine, quoting the price of a cheaper suspension that is not the same as mine potentially devalues my suspension. Now if you were up in arms over me not advertising as OBO, that has been rectified. You guys are welcome to tender whatever offers you think are fair. And I continue to stand behind my vow to match pricing of any KW Clubsport coilover suspension for EDC E9x M3 currently on sale here.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hi. Just an estimation: I got the suspension installed in April of last year, and I commute less than 800 miles per month on average; so somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 miles.

Hello. My preference would be to return my car to stock and pay as little as I can for the OEM ZCP EDC suspension. I assume you would desire a higher trade value due to yours being Dinan, so I'm afraid I would not meet your price requirement.

Trade value would be dependent on the condition of your suspension (i.e. mileage). For an EDC ZCP suspension let's assume a baseline of $600. That would be subject to change depending on current market value of those OEM kits.

I've got 60K on my non-ZCP EDC suspension.
