I picked up my 2011 Frozen Grey E92 three weeks ago and within 6 hours I was getting a BPM Stage 2 Tune, DCT Tune, and combox retrofit from Bevno. Not to be a stickler but I just hate the factory M performance on the E92.

My car will be featured at Bimmerfest therefore I have a ways to go by May 14th and between here and my website, rchsht.com, I'll be documenting all progress along the way.

All work performance work is being done over at RPMotorsport, and cosmetics were done by Sunshield and Sticker City.

So far the list goes as follows:

Cosmetic:

Window Tint: 5% all around | 20% full windshield -- 3M Color Stable (Sunshield)
Side Vents: OEM wrapped black (Sticker City)
Wheels: OEM powder coated
Kidney Grills: OEM Chrome wrapped black w/ ///M colors (Sticker City)
Emblems: Blacked out wrap/paint (Sticker City)

Performance:

Tune: BPM Sport Stage 2 w/ DCT package (BPMSport)
Exhaust: Full Akrapovic Evolution w/ carbon tips (BPMSport/RPM)
Wheels: Motorsport Hardware
- 75MM Stud Conversion Kit
- Titan V1 Cold Forged Steel Race Nuts
- Titan V1 Wheel Lock Kit

Below is a shot of the car and some shots that were taken when the Akra was being installed. More progress to come soon.

Plans: Ohlins or JRZ suspension, Brembo BBK, VF blower, some carbon accessories, and a few other finishing touches.

I also secured these which I was surprised were actually available, hence the car's hashtag in title that will be used across social media posting.

I should be picking up a prescription for the tint today -- light sensitivity.

IMO i would be more worried about a law suit that getting a ticket from a cop. you have that dark of a tint on your windshield at night and hit someone. easy lawsuit.

Can't even tell it's tinted at night; makes it easier to see out of darker side and rear. It isn't as dark as it seems from the inside.

Not really. I have my windshield done @ 5%, and if not for the fact that there's a cutaway section for the registration/inspection stickers, you couldn't even tell it's there. It helps reduce glare @ night, but more than anything, it's to prevent UV rays from fading the interior when it isn't parked in a garage, as it gets HOT in Texas. It's a ceramic tint, btw.

leftover tint went on the reflector. to tint the reflection of your lights.
