Lowering ZCP
Is it worth it to lower with competition package. As I understand it it had as somewhat different suspension set up. Does it use same aftermarket springs and/of coil overs as those without ZCP?
Thanks for the input. |

I lowered my 2011 ZCP with B&G springs and E36 bumpstops and the ride is better than stock with a way better stance. Especially the front. EDC is what makes some coil/sleeve packages not compatible but for springs you should be all good with anything specifics to your E9X model.

Kw sleeves are garbage. The bottom out to easily, the rebound is too much and the rear perches are metal on metal (stock and high end coil overs have a rubber gasket) and add a lot of road noise.
I would either get BG or eibach springs which use the stock rubber gaskets that keep road noise the same as stock. Btw, my kw sleeve over is for sale. LoL.
