One last Mod.... before Mfest?

So I have decided I need one more final mod before heading out to Mfest next weekend.

I'm going to update this thread as it comes to completion.....

Now that we have figured out what mod I will be preforming.... heres some explanations. Im just gonna just share some highlights of this kit and its installation as I put it togther. No need for a DIY it comes with a PDF of step by step directions with color pictures.

I have chosen the VF 620 kit first and for most. It comes with its own software program complete with OBD cable. You extract your current software and email it, its then returned to you with modified maps. Process took 38 min so I suggest using a battery charger if your battery is in so-so shape.

The most common word used when dedribing this kt is "Beefy". Most of the parts have a beefed up OEM feel to them, here is one.....

On the top is a OEM heat exchanger water pump from a F02, on the bottom is the heat exchanger water pump used in the VF 620 kit. Any more questions on the "beefy" part???

Intake and bumper removed, supercharger bracket in place.

When putting together a kit like this you tend to notice the little things. Its the little things that add up for the total package and thats what really counts. A few factors that give it an OEM feel to the VF620 is direct plug and play harness adapters so you dont have to cut the engine harness for the IAT sensor. Another is the purge valve line that just snaps in the the prefabricated vent line. All of the hoses are already cut to the perfect length and supplied with OEM crush style clamps. Now there was a few that I felt it was easier to use the screw style, so I just used a few of mine I had at my shop in a couple places.

Also when building a supercharger kit you have to think about airflow not just boost pressure because it takes both of them together to work properly. There was some serious thought in the silicon boost pipe. The inside diameter was stepped so there was no turbulance in the airflow as it enters the manifold.

Injectors set freely, IAT sensor fits securely in harness with plug and play adapter harness.

The only thing I modified on this kit was I painted the aux radiator black to keep it stealth.
