About to get new wheels, offset question
I'm about to pull the trigger on 19" HRE P40s (satin charcoal) for an e92. The rims are 19x9 front and 19x10.5 rear. I'm going to wrap them in Nitto Invos, 255/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear. What offset would you go with to not rub and look good, 25 or 28 all the way around? Right now, I'm not lowered but I may drop with H&R springs in the future.

If I were to go with these sizes, I would want the following offsets, and these would not rub, even on a lowered car...
19" x 9" ET17 or ET15 19" x 10.5" ET25 Now I have the following, with absolutely no rubbing, but it looks like it would... 19" x 9.5" ET22 w/ Nitto Invo 275/30/19 19" x 10.5" ET25 w/ Nitto Invo 305/30/19 It is the absolute perfect offset, as it looks like rears would rub, but they don't at all. Not even if the car is loaded, and I go over a bump. It is great! I am not sure why HRE makes their offsets so conservative, I think most people end up using spacers to really flush the wheels out. -Andy

Yep, 275/30/19 and no rubbing at all. It comes really close to touching the liner when you turn the wheel all the way, but it still has a few millimeters from touching. It is perfect. I have Volk VR G2's. Here is a link...

When you order the wheels, specify the tire size that you want to run and HRE can build the offsets to work with your car. They are very good about customizing the offsets to clear brake systems and work with larger tire sizes so they still fit on your car without rubbing issues.
