NJMP May 4th - SCDA Event

Just putting it out to people who are interested on a track event happening May 4th organized by SCDA. Check them out at http://www.scda1.com

As far as I know, there are three of us from the post going.

1. Tsezene
2. Noxredna
3. Makots

It's going for $280 for the single day event but they give you a lot of track time and you don't have to worry about inspection or food (provided on the event itself). I have also heard that SCDA has pretty good instructors for those who are just starting out.

See you guys at the track.

I'll see you there. bring your camera, i'll give you my mount for a session or two so you can make some footage. also, last time i was there they didn't have bays available, so you might want to bring a camping chair and sunblock for in between sessions.
See u there!

it will be the lightning course, which i prefer over the thunderbolt, and i think its a lot easier the car too.

also, this day will have 5.5 hrs!!!!! of track time which is unheard of.

Best bang for the buck. Scda1.com

Tamas,

I have a cruisecam clamped on my chair already and have been taking footage with my video cam now. It's always fun to see myself make all the small mistakes while doing my line!

Do you have spare camping chairs? When I was there with PCA, the place was pretty empty. I will bring the drinks.

No worries, I'm lucky that I have week days off!

Dave, are you free on Sunday? Charles and I are going down to NJMP for the grandam race.

Tamas, are you free on Sunday? Let's go down for the final Rolex race in the afternoon at NJMP - shouldn't take too long! I'll see what I can get in Rite Aid for the chairs. Are you running with the intermediate group?

I'll be going with the novice group - going to keep it safe and learn the lines from the instructor first.

Looks like it's going to rain though!
