Seat Belt connection question...

I bought these seats from phozenstone:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318072

My car is an '09 E90 sedan, these seats most likely came off an '08 because they don't have the crash-active head restraints, which I'll deal with, but for now my question is about seat belt mounting...

My stock seats have this. The big hole is where the bolt mounts the seat belt.

The M3 seats have no such hole:

I don't see any place to attach my seat belts. Are the M3 seat belts that much different? Of all the possible issues I thought I might come across, this was not one of them.

Otherwise, the seats bolt down perfectly, rails and mounting holes a perfect fit.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks,
Howard

Could the difference be that his seats are '08 and your car is an '09? In other words, maybe there were actually more changes for '09 than just the active head restraints.

Yeah, I've almost accepted that's the story but I'm still hoping there's a way around this. Disappointing as I love these seats and finding them was a rare opportunity (guy buys M3, turns it into a race car with 3 miles in it, removes the entire interior...)

Anyway, thanks.

Those are coupe seats (E92). That's why they won't work in your sedan (E90).
