The other forum

Anyone know where m3forum.com went? I can not get it on any computer. It takes me back to google, strange. I also could not find any info about it being down on google either. I don't really like that forum that much, lots of E46 M3 fanboyz and loony admins over there but I do read and post a bit anyway.

The forum has been .net for some time now whereas the home page was .com. Now they must have shut down the .com site!?

There are alot of E46 owners over there that don't seem to repsect the evolution of the M3, but I have always found that site to be a very good source for information for all things E46. Sure it's not perfect, but easily the best place to roam if you are currently enjoying your E46 M3. Kind of like how bimmerforum is for the E36.

This site (M3 Post) will eventually be a "fanboyz" site as well, once the
E92 gets in the hands of more tuners, racers and general enthusiasts. Right now it's just a wish list site for most people.

^ So true

The negativity on M3forums mirros what Bimmerforums was like when the E46 M3 came out.

In some ways we have a little bit of everything on this site right now. However, that will probably end when the new M3 becomes the current M3 and arguing about steering and feel and Brake fade becomes futile.

Agreed.

I find myself not necessarily posting alot on this site, but visiting it just as frequently as the other site. I like it here because there seems to be alot of loyal BMW owners here, and a bigger international contingency. I consider myself a fan of anything "///M"...... I suspect my post count and time spent here will only increase.

I second the international flavor here, really like it.

I have a different name on that site -- keeps the spillover hate to a minimum.
