Hahaha, you will see just about anything on this track. I flew by a grandma with sparco racing gloves on in a old school station wagon........MIND BLOWN!!!! It's considered a toll road and has one section with a "speed limit" so its not considered a track......right? Hahahaha!

The car was an Opel. The guy was a great driver but a bit aggressive in my personal opinion. There were plenty of times I wanted to pass but was timid because he was aggressive. You will see some impressive drivers on here that have little HP but a momentum from hell!

Bro! I right always new the differences between your M shifting and mine that day at the Ring! Besides that you are a great Ring driver it was freaking awesome to ride with you and realize the potentials of this beast in the Ring!!! I will need to get with you for this DCT tune upgrade!!! We would of finished that lap in 8:30 or 8:45 if it wouldn't have been for so many accidents that day at the Ring!!! Here we are ripping the ring open!!!

So to all the non believers(without BPM tune)..... go.... and laugh in an other treat, about something you know maybe more!!!
Conclusion....for the people that laugh.....get the BPM tune and you will never laugh again, and actualy we laugh, with the driving pleasure that we get with our BPM tune & DCT software !!!

I think you missed the point of that comment. The review was yearning for that clutch pedal feel. If you have the full manual transmission (that is with a clutch pedal) then there is no need for any kind of aftermarket software the car will feel like it was intended from day one. 6MT FTW

Um, and I respectfully disagree. I have a 6MT, and my car with the BPM Stage II is a completely different monster than it was stock.

Ok....this thread looks like its turned into a DCT vs. 6MT thread....which it was not intended to do...its a thread reviewing a product...not a "versus" thread.

STi....great review....but I'm more grateful of being able to experience it firsthand. For those that would like to know...I've been fortunate to own 2 E92 M3's...my first one was a 2008 6MT (tuned by AA)...and the current one is a 2013 DCT (tuned by BPM). Both types of transmissions have their quirks...and like most aftermarket products for our cars...vendors will develop and sell products that "fill-in" something that they feel is "missing" from the factory. And thats what STi is trying to get with this thread...those that love their DCT...and want that immediate engagement that they felt in a 6MT...this is a product that will fill that void.

Now...can we get back to what the OP intended this thread to be?

Gentlemen, if we can please squash this now. I fully understood the joke about the clutch pedal.

Update!

I did a bit of spirited driving yesterday and noticed when I shifted around 5-6k RPM at full throttle my rear end got frisky and my DSC was flashing (Euro MDM Mode). I am guessing its the DCT because I never noticed this before the DCT software.

The DCT starting in D2 and remembering S mode is a Euro DCT feature that is available in the regular tune, correct?

Are the coding changes in this DCT software that much better than the adjustments in the performance tune, since getting both essentially increases cost of tune by 50%?

Yes it is ...and that's a promise, i have it ,the BPM engine tune & DCT software !
Actualy you need to get it...before you believe it,in one word....WOW !
Car runs stronger than ever before, and the DCT in S 4-5-6 when you shift at 4-5-6000 rpm you get this pusch feeling, actualy the shifts pusches the car forward now,it's unbelievable this speed and force of shifting !!!(kicks your butt !!! )
Would i do it again ???
In a heartbeat man !
Is it worth ???
Every single $ !
Conclusion.....
A stock ///M3 is becoming boring ,and i go never back to stock.... never man !!
BTW...car consumes less now - 1.8 liter/100 km !!!
This all is the BPM tune and DCT coding of THE MAN..... called....MIKE-BENVO
Hope that this will help !
BTW....next week it's my turn...a SPECIAL... review of my BPM tune
