Drove the M3 E90 for about 5 hours yesterday
A friend took delivery of a SS Sedan 6 Speed M3 and we went to Munich and back for a training, we traded cars, I took his M3, he took the Vette switched on the way home.
In traffic the M3 is so docile and easy to drive, Hit the Power button and rev it up and wow this thing is so fast in corners and moves so well at speed it is like two different cars. the areas of the autobahn that were stop and go (stau) were so much easier to drive in the M-3 than the Corvette. The M3 is a like a split personality car, the Vette has better lines, and is much more raw than the M3, more down low torque and power. The M-3 was so much less tiring to drive than the Vette. It is so different Much Much easier to control and get the power down. It doesn't feel as fast but if the governer was gone it would likely hit 300KPH without much difficulty. Both cars are stable at high speed, the ride is so much different the Vette is so low and the M-3 refined. The Gas Mileage of the M3 at speed is unbelievable as in $$$$ Fun day, very different from the same trip in my wifes 335 E93 ZSP 6mn last week, both th M3 and the vette make the 335 feel much slower from Germany

The Corvette is an 08 its mine
Z51 6 Mn with NPP exhaust, the interior of the M3 is heads and tails above the 08 Corvette, the leather on the M3 is incredible and much better than
either the Vette or the 335 No ones calling anythig a girls car, the 335 is my wifes and is an E93 ZSP 6MN, its not in the same league as the M3 or Vette performance wise. Didnt run the Vette against the M-3 in perfect conditions, but the Vette is quicker down low and the m3 up high. the Vette didnt have a speed limiter so it went up to 180MPh and the M3 started choking at 160 and was limited to 165 The two are are very different, however dont think a 335 is in competition, its a fast but different car more of a sports tourer
