Comments Needed on Arkym Rear Diffuser

Hi Guys! I am seriously considering an Arkym Carbon Rear Diffuser Single side 1x1 weave and would like to know if anybody has this installed on their M3. I would like to know if fitment is spot on and if build quality is also good. Photos would also be very much appreciated! Thanks!

i have one on order, ill let you know

im very sure fitment is dead on( im anal about fitment) or else i wouldnt order one. Seems like the company def focuses on fitment.

However its a very agressive diffusor and will need an exhaust to look its very best probably..

eithier way order quick theres a wait on them

Thanks for your reply and comments. I'm gald to hear that fitment is dead on. I also have an Akra Slip-on exhaust coming in 2 weeks and that is why I am currently looking for an aggresive cf diffuser to go with it. Did you order the single side 1x1 weave as well? What exhaust will you be using with this diffusor? Thanks again!

i don't have the rear but i have there front lip and the quality and fitment are perfect and i am anal about that and actually bought 4 lips to have in hand to tape up each and choose one bf installing and the Akrym one won my vote by a large margin. so i am sure the rear fits perfect

Thanks for your inputs H Bomb! Greatly appreciated. I have no doubt they provide one of the best fitment in the industry. But how's the carbon fiber weave construction and build quality of Arkym? Is it as good as Vorsteiner or Challenge cf? One vendor told me Arkym use wet lay carbon instead of dry carbon like Vorsteiner and Challenge. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

mmm_03,

ARKYM don't do wetlay. Whoever told you this is not correct.

ARKYM parts are made just like the other two brands you mentioned. It used Signature Arktek vacuum infusion process. I believe customers who purchased ARKYM parts can prove the top quality of the carbon finish.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

no offense to VSR but i can't even put Akrym in the same level, it is a step above the VSR stuff in my op. the prices VSR charges is a shame and someone should slap them

What do you guts think of the Arkym rear diffuser in matte black? My car is jet black w matte grills and side markers, tinted windows and cf roof. Not sure if i want to start changing the cars appearance completly. I also have the acs roof spoiler. i think matte black will look almost like a stock piece and not overdone. Comments........

In my experience on my car, although front lips work better in matte black, trunk spoilers and diffusers typically work better in CF.

i just added my Akrym front lip and i painted it to match and it is perfect fitment is amazing so i think i am gonna go for the rear next. i will do painted to match just to keep the same theme as my grills and side markers are now painted to match also

in my honest op even though there both black your jet black is clear coated hence has a gloss to it and it pops (love the color btw). i think for the little it would cost to paint it i think it would look sick color matched and look like it came oem like that. just my op.

if i get mine first i will take pics painted for you

Here is a Jet Black with Carbon Finish Diffuser to help you out, I guess it depends what other parts you have as well.

Hi MaverickNemesis! Thanks for the great pics, now I am fully convinced they do look awesome and fitment is indeed spot on! It really goes well with the Akra exhaust. Now I am really excited. Have confirmed my order with Eric, but waiting time is 3 weeks. Thanks again!
