60" Pioneer Plasma troubleshooting help needed

If anyone has a 60" Pioneer Plasma (or even if you dont) and can assist me with trying to figure out why the F@#$ everything is displaying in 4:3 when I have nothing set to do that, I'd really appreciate it...

I have a 43" Pioneer Plasma. The older model.
Any ways, did you check the Source? What format the Source is feeding?

Besides the source, what type of input are you using at the tv end?

Try switching the input at the tv to a different input number

I switched between the different input's / outputs on the TV, DVR and receiver... Im using an HDMI cable from my receiver to the TV. It just began doing this in the last few days and just cant freaking figure out that changed... I even went and reset back to the factory settings on both the DVR and TV.

1. Try a different input at the tv from the receiver
2. Try a different hdmi cable from the receiver to the tv
3. Try a different hdmi cable from the receiver to a different input at the tv
4. Is the receiver the only source that's displaying 4:3? i.e. does the dvr display 16:9?
5. What about a game console? If you have one, does it show 16:9?

I have a Pioneer 5080 HD, in my remote control there is a button labeled 'screen size' (upper left) that will toggle among '4:3' - 'wide' - 'full' - 'zoom' - 'auto'. If your current setting is '4:3' you just need to revert to 'full' or 'auto'. Keep in mind that your source (DVD player) might have a similar setting.
