Not sure about Cali but here in NY even on a used purchase you still need to pay license and tax on the sale price of the vehicle. These expenses are paid regardless if new or used purchase.

people commonly think that the more money you put into a car the more you'll get for it. that is not true 9 out of 10 times. i personally would never buy this car. with all these mods i'm assuming it's had the crap beaten out of it. i would prefer to buy an un-molested one for $20K less and mod myself. i would be much more comfortable that way. by putting a supercharger on it you have reduced your potential customer base drastically. and then pricing it a few thousand dollars away from an M5 is leaving you with 0 customers

LOL -- $84k! This must be one of those "rare" cars that APPRECIATES in value when you put miles on it and add mods then, right? Has your buddy heard of this thing called "reality"?
