I received a file from Shiv at Vishnu, with regards to their single turbo 335i, and they ran an amazing time of 6.73s, with a -1.6% slope, and 1 shift, AWESOME work Shiv and the guys at Vishnu!

It's gonna be very hard for drew to come close to madsex's time ! period !
I hit 7.8 with a manual with 3 shifts and izzy hit a 7.5 with power shifting and all that is due to the east coast sea level altitude something drew has against him .... So drew's 6.8 is very impressive for west coast !!
That's one of the main reasons madsex's hit what he hit and not to mention hooking up in 2nd gear !!! I wouldn't be surprised if he clocked a
5.9 when hooking in 2nd gear , top of 2nd is deadly ....

Vt3 will be more impressive in a Texas mile than 60-130 , Putting this amount of power down in low gears is really really hard takes a good driver to do so !

Today, our Single Turbo 335 did a 6.46s 60-130mph run with a -1.5% slope in a 67F day.

To back it up, it whipped off a 6.51s run with a 0.00% slope, running a little bit more boost. Was getting wheelspin in 4th gear (see log)

Car was running on 94+meth. I filled up right from the gas station off of Andrade exit off of 680. This is daily driver trim. Only the passenger seat is out.

Logs/Graphs:

6.46s run with -1.5% slope

Procede Datalog of 6.46s run:

6.51s run with 0.00% slope

Procede Datalog of 6.51s run (with 4th gear wheelspin!):

nooooooo... how can that be true???? No NOS, no meth, no E85, no 15psi pulley and super-secret extra special dangerous tune file, just an ESS625 kit and he pulled that time? Nahhh... I do not believe it and this is surely a con compiled by all the ESS fanboys (like the me as a "scumbag" that I am... ) to bring down all the other great kits out there and turn the tables in their favour.... xaxaxaxaxaxa

Are you sure Drew that this was not done in a Porsche turbo or a BMW 1000RR streetbike and this guy is trying to fool us all??? (the world is so full of idiots it is sad...)

Joking aside , very well done Sir, I know you can do a little better than that if wheather is a bit cooler and you can find the optimum traction!

FWIW M&M said that he was running meth and that the kit was custom modified for more power....he also said he had some belt slippage too. Here's what he said:

"Ok I'm not gonna' mislead anyone, we have made our own changes to the kit. So it's not like it shipped & these chanegs we made have nothing to do with ESS. We did whatever we did on our own. It's probably around 625hp equivalent. Have meth as well.

The octane is around 98RON, so I think thats 93 or 94 in the US equivalent. Stock tyres. We having some issues with belt slippage on the setup we running so the belt basically slips after each gearchange & feels & sounds like the clutch riding but it's actually the belts slipping."

Thanks Rick.

He did 6.4, even with the belt slipping etc. so it's entirely conceivable that Costas did 6.1. Costas has a long history of doing very well 60-130 and he's a respected enthusiast, my job is too check the file for it's validity, and it's valid, most of the people who are bitching about it, have little to no experience with boosted M3's 60-130 or how to read a Vbox file, nor do they seem to understand the below disclaimer whatsoever -

When comparing the below 60-130 and 1/4 mile results, please keep in mind that variances in temperature, humidity, road surface conditions, tire grip, and driver input can all have a measurable impact on the data.

So what exactly does this mean/prove my friend?
If I am getting it right it means that M&M probably got himself a 575 or 600kit and turned up the power using custom pulley and/or injectors and/or did his own custom tuning all these adding up to around (I gather it is an estimate) 625HP like the original ess625 puts out.. right? And he is getting slippage + I bet there are some pretty hot and humid conditions where he is running the car at the moment!!! So where is the big secret here???
Excellent job from M&M and great for him that he is in the position to improve/add his input-knowledge to the already excellent kits from ESS as this is his profession/expertise evidently, however this was not the case for me as has been said like a million times already!

Way to go M&M and I am almost certain that you can and will go below 6s together with Drew given the right opportunity and conditions!!!

Bro I'm on your side trust me lol.....I'm just relaying more info for the run for the benefit of the 60-130 list...after having a run in with a nice GTR that should run 6 flat 60-130's and trapping 135+ I completely believe your results at this point

Ok man got it... (although honestly I can not get how you can "hang" or even stand individuals like LM... )

In any case I know your car and M&M's and mine and all the others like ours are very very capable and can beat various powerful cars out there (I could beat tuned GTR's circa 650-700HP at will) and to all the haters out there (they know who they are...) I want to say: TOUGH LUCK BOYS!

BTW Ricky what's your best? Go out and rock a 60-130 in that thing!
I ran a best of 6.9 starting in 3rd gear on pump gas with street tires, I did this the day after I got the blower installed. No doubt in my mind that low 6's are achievable with race gas, drag radials, and starting in second. I will try soon
