Great Book-On BMWs, Mechanicals and "Car Guys" in General
This thread will likely end up in a sub category - however it is def not a DIY guide -but in the meantime I thought as many of you as possible might be interested in a GREAT book by Rob Siegel (BMW CCA Roundel columnist) on his many years of buying, repairing and driving BMWs.
"Memoirs of a Hack Mechanic" just came out and mostly addresses Rob's experiences with older BMWs (2002s, 3.0CSs, some older ///Ms, etc.), but should definitely and greatly interest most of this forum's members. It is really a great read with fantastic tech suggestions, buyer's tips, anecdotes and lots of BMW history that, of course, leads up to our great cars. Almost thru with it. Highly recommended.
