Get off your high horse, what I meant by that was I couldn't just trade the car in and drive out. I'd have to have the hassle of selling my car.

Not that it should be any of your concern but I could buy the car outright if needed, but it doesn't make much sense in the tax bracket I am in when the interest is tax deductible.

All the post was asking is what options there are to increase low end torque to make the car more fun on a daily basis. After all, it will be a daily driver otherwise I'd buy something more like a GT3.

Yes I like taking my car to the drag strip, but I also take it to track days (whole purpose of the coilovers, LSD etc), a motor enthusiast wanting performance from a 200k car is something so strange to ask? If all I was interested in was straight line speed I would have already bought a c63.

Maybe wait for the f80 M3/4 to come out next year. That should have enough shove to outrun a 1M.

Is it just me, or is the atmosphere in here a lot different than 1addicts...

I also like the M3 and have driven a few but I love my low end power as it's most of what I use everyday.
I would say keep your car Michael it's an awesome car will run rings around most of the M3's here.

Hey Rossi, so what about the guy driving a little Porsche?

Surely you can have a better go than that woeful effort.

But yeh, JB REALLY knows how to make friends, not.

Just for clarity, she bought the 1M, sure I encouraged her, but it is hers. I'm the little fat guy who squeezes into the little Porsche hahaha

Pretty cocky for a newbie Rossi. I love seeing the look on an M3 drivers face every time they wanna run yet another 135i then all they see is my rear tail lights disappearing right in front of there eyes. It's quite rewarding.
I would be pissed too if I owned an M3 and the 1M comes along as a better package at a fraction of the price and outdoes your car in everyway.

N54 FTW!!!

Which is a better car Alpine and I don't mean which sounds better or revs higher? Hang on I think you've already answered that.

Sorry John. I think I'm most disliked cause I tell it how it is not to mention my 1 series produces twice the torque of a V8 M3.

Don't get me wrong the M3 is a great car once supercharged. It's got balls it just needs them unleashed.

I think in the last few weeks a boosted R33 GTR beat me, a boosted 180sx beat me and a new evo beat me. I should probably go out and buy one now. Those cars are better then the M3 in every way. Im pretty pissed i wasted so much money on the M3 when i cant even keep up with these 3 great cars

On another note, I saw a guy driving his 135 to work today. Well i thought he worked at the same place as me, but turns out he was just dropping his boyfriend off.....First time i seen 2 guys kiss in public.....

135, what a great car!

Porsche are a real mans car. Pure driving skill needed to thrash one of those around! Unless its a boxster or a gayman...

lol ur jokign right? No one knows who u r coz.....wait for it!........this is an M3 forum and u dont drive an M3...

Actually I tell it how it is and it gets all the 1 series drivers upset. The 1 series is the gayest looking small car. Do me a favour, take your boyfriend out to the garage and both of you have a look at your 1 series and tell me you honestly think its a good looking car!

this is not relevant for 1Ms driven by females as thats prob the hottest shit any guy can see
