What to do about automatic parking brake for DCT at track?
I have been told not to use the parking brake at the track after running the car. My question is on my DCT car if I turn it off the brake automatically comes on. What should I do? Park the car on a level surface and leave it running?
Is there a way to over-ride the automatic parking brake? |

It's not a parking brake. It's and engine/flywheel lock.
The parking brake/ebreak is separate and manually activiated. Just turn the car off it will go into park. Don't pull the parking brake. |

I actually use wheel chocks to keep the car from moving when I want the car to idle for a few minutes to cool off while in neutral. |
