Arrow Reputable Local Body Shops

I just purchased a set of BMW Performance Splitters and the Rear Spoiler. Spoke with the parts guy and he really recommended getting them professionally installed by a body shop. I am pretty handy when it comes to little mods like these but was just wondering what you guys think. Any suggestions for a good (price and quality) local body shop? I'm located in Bellevue so I have heard of R&R, Bel-Red...

Thanks!

I've been going to Showcase Collision in Totem Lake for years since referred to them by a friend. They are only shop that I can drop my cars off at without having to worry about a thing.

They work on everything from exotics to classics to highly customized cars. Benchmark even sends a lot, if not all, of their bodywork needs there.

Some of my friends go to R&R and, while they do good work, I think they are over priced. I recommend taking a look into Collision.

If you have basic wrenching skills, you shouldn't have any problems. Especially with OEM parts. The spoiler, make sure you read up on it because you have to place the double sided tape at the edge to make proper contact with the trunk.

Good luck!

thanks for your inputs. i feel like the OEM parts shouldnt be too bad. I considered using double sided 3m auto tape, not sure how thick they are and if they would make the spoiler look "lifted" from the trunk. so im also considering some adhesives. The dealership told me they use Betalink which I can only get them from BMW. any suggestions on what to use for attachment?

You might try Pacific Auto Body in Seattle (SODO area), they do all the work for BMW Seattle. Have had good luck there.

not a fan of showcase. they did work on my 4runner and it came back with debris in the paint work due to a shoddy prep job.

i take all my stuff to www.eurotechbodywerkes.com. they're not the cheapest nor the quickest but they'll get it done right and the owner mark is always there. good guy.

queen city is good too but a bigger operation.

Eurotech and Queen City have very good reputation in the Porsche community. Haury's is a BMW certified body shop and I have been using them for my M3 since I moved here. They are great with OEM work, but no so great with painting CF or aftermarket work.
