Yeah there was actually another guy at the event...I think his name is Saeed...maybe that's him? He was talking about his tuned CLS biturbo that he was supposed to bring to the event but didn't for some reason.

I don't think I have that video online, but here's one from early this year with pretty much the same situation as described:
Considering we were pretty even, I'd say I would be pulling pretty hard on him with even the most modest supercharger. Keep in mind he was on the gas before me since he was in front.

That m5 looked like he was pulling on you in the straights but you regaled him In on corners.

Yea he was barely pulling though. Point is a supercharged M3 would be pulling on the M5. And I'm pretty sure I only had an Akrapovic slip-on during this video. I've been on track with M5's more recently with my Akra Evo + ESS tune and they seem pretty even with me in the straights.

I mean really, you have to look at the numbers: 575 kit, HFC, should be around 600hp (520whp if you are generous). Weight is what, 3300pds? M5, 560hp (lots of torque though) but weights 400 million thousand pounds. I'd say I should spank it easy...

Jaron///M3, I'm not sure why you are so sceptical about supercharged M3 beating old M5. Why do you say no? All the numbers are saying yes, and I had actual run in, as well as some other folks. Regarding a NA M3 vs M5, yea, I'm a bit sceptical on that one... prior to SC, I had HFC, xpipe and was tuned by ESS, and I got beat by M5 (not too much, but enough to admit it)(not sure if M5 had mods, but doubt it). Maybe if M3 is full bolt on and is automatic and m5 is manual.

How do you think i'd do against a stock C6 Z06? Most of them have at least an intake though... I know they are beasts, I cross shopped m3 with z06, and spent time on forums there.

OP is your car DCT or 6SP? Becuase that will play a key role in most races especially with the 575 kit.

All I said was a stock M5 could keep up. I have a G-Power M3 making 620HP. On the highway at 60mph maybe 70mph the M5 was with me. I didn't run away from him. My opinion, if I'm walking away from a car, it's keeping up. Now maybe the M5 I raced in a straight line wasn't stock and was a sleeper. Case and point... The M5 is fast and a respected car. I would rather be in a G-Pwr M3 any day though!

I seem to pull stock C6 Z06s at a steady pace. It's nothing dramatic, mind you, but it's a pull. Any mods on the Z06 and I don't stand much of a chance. Those are some ludicrously fast cars with very little work.

I beat a modded Z06 (intake, tune, full exhaust) with my super M and people are saying that's nonsense. That the guy is a buddy of mine and we both respect anything fast. Do you guys think that if a car was abused (meaning not following break in or something like that, not obviously a hurt motor or something of that nature) early in its life that it could just naturally be a little slower? Any only ask because so many people say I shouldn't of had a chance so now it's got me second guessing myself and the results lol

It's possible. And some cars are just slower than other cars of the same make/model/year/ect from the factory. You have to remember, Z06 motors are hand built, so just like GTRs, actual HP from stock will vary.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. That's why I can't stand hearing people say shits fake or it was a bad driver and stuff like that. No doubt Vettes are fast as hell but there are always exceptions and no matter how fast you think you are, somewhere out there somebody is faster lol

Stock E60 m5 should never be able to keep up with a 575+ HP M3. This is a VT2-575 VS E60 M5 50-130 mph on a closed road.

My E92 dct with just an intake and Axle back would be right next to my buddy's E60 M5. Any supercharged E92 should make short work of a stock E60M5

ha ha, funny story, just had a run in with a z06 today... he was modified, but not sure to what extent...

We pretty much started at around 100mph, which is not in my advantage (3rd gear is tapped out, and 4th is not there yet).
