Best HFC x pipe for power

this has probably been discussed before but why not bring it up again. I just did the ACM OEM exhaust mod and it sounds pretty good. I want a deeper sound and added power..Who is running one of these setups with their stock exhaust and what kind of sound and power gains are you getting from below?

Fabspeed?
Gintani?
Active?

Noticeable gains? Or is it just better to run test pipes?

Just depends what you really want. A fully catless setup should net the highest gains. Many people don't wanna hack up the factory parts but since you've already done the sound mod on the stock exhaust, maybe you don't care.

Well technically, no modified or replacement x-pipe will pass emissions and most will give you the CEL so if that's a worry, then you'll need to find other parts to change.

I have the fabspeed setup. You'll need to add a second pair of resonators to the xpipe or it will be super raspy!!! I cut out my stock resonators and added it to the fabspeed xpipe. I love the way it sounds now. I eventuslly got a CEL so I bought 42 Draft O2 Extenders. I haven't got a CEL since. All monitors are "ready" and can pass smog no problem!

Pass no problem? You mean if they don't look or test for emissions?

I'll have a challenge race with my acm mod in the next two weeks.

So, I'm hoping it sounds good enough to last for a bit!

Gintani high flow for best power

X pipe has a unique design. 422awhp SAE here with it

Cheap x pipe would be test pipes.

^+1, the gintani xpipe gave me a huge power bump.

If you want the most hp, get the gintani catless xpipe

In NV it's tested by obd-ii only. I had it hooked up to a machine and it passed all readiness tests

Not to get into who can beat who or what not but when you start throwing tunes into the mix, things will become more and more off topic. From all the research I did and talking to various companies and even just muffler/exhaust shops I really liked the design of the Gintani and hence was the reason I went with it. Many forum members have been very pleased with it. I know I am

I did the exact same thing. I couldn't handle the raspy noise. I cut my stock resonators and placed them to the catless x pipe. Sounds perfect
