ED on 04/20

UPDATE: Picked up my from Steve Thomas BMW out in Camarillo last Saturday. The shipping time back home went surprisingly fast (around 7 weeks). I just want to recommended Ryan and Francesca for any future purchases. They are awesome to deal with and great with customer service even as busy as they are. As far as euro delivery goes, if you got the time, it's definitely worth the experience. I was a little worried at first but it all went smooth and saw some cool things while I was at the factory. I've attached some pictures from BMW Welt and I would post more but my internet is acting up.

Its been a long wait and I am finally picking up my vehicle on 04/20. Out of curiousity, are there any others picking up on that day?

One of my customers is picking up his Interlagos M3 Coupe on 4/20. Have fun! The wait will have been worth it when you see your new BMW!

First thing that came to mind as soon as I saw the title.

You might want to head over to the Bimmerfest European Delivery forum and put your name on the interactive pickup calendar. Linking up with someone else, whether they're picking up an M3 or not, definitely enhances the delivery day experience.

If you go with ED plan, and then drop it off in Frankfurt for shipment back to the U.S., do you have control over where it is delivered? I am pursuing a 2012 M3 coupe from Ryan @ Steve Thomas, but I don't want it to come in on a boat and arrive in LA. Then I just have to pay to ship it to Houston. If it comes through a local dealer as a courtesy delivery, I get jammed on more fees. I want it to come into Galveston, and just go pick it up myself. How does the process work stateside when you are already purchasing from an out of state dealer? Obviously, I have already paid in full and taken delivery in Munich.

Thanks,
Scott

^^Scott Ryan can go over all the details with you if you are confused. Ryan has sold quite a few TX forum member cars this year alone so he will make sure whatever process takes place that its the best possible one for your indiv case
