Which exhaust is best for M3 Coupe
I am a huge fan of Dinan, as I have used on my M5 and love it. However, I have heard some noise at this year's car show that Dinan subtracts horsepower in the rear wheels.
Which one do you like? Keep in mind I dont like exhausts that sound like those "souped" up honda civics. More like c63 amg. |

Definetly get the Full RPi GT EXhaust system, its around $2,800 but it includes the headers all the way to the mufflers
Im getting mine soon, i was gonna get the remus but i decided this was better It adds around 25HP and 28TQ to the RWHP

Sorry, i didnt mean to say headers, that was stupid
it also gains 35ft/lbs and 28whp, those are the correct dyno gains

+1 for fellow Greenwich resident.
I am also shopping around for an exhaust. It really depends if you want a bolt on solution or you don't mind cutting your stock system. If you want bolt on, Active Autowerk is a good solution, but I hear its not that much louder to stock (good for some and not others). I'm waiting for some other solutions to come to market as I think some of these systems are awfully overpriced. Welcome to the boards.

OP, you may want to consider the Riss Racing system from JLevi. I'm going to start researching this system as it is a bolt-on solution and under $1,200.
Just need some opinions on how it would function on a daily driver.

Im running the Eisenmann Race exhaust (with connecting pipes)...it was a simple bolt on (1 hr). The sound is to die for IMO...I would suggest watching this video, taking a deep breathe and getting your credit card out
its sounds even better in person.

EISENMANN RACE. It's so agressive, but subtle when you want it to be. It performs all the actions within your criteria, it's MADE BY THE PEOPLE WHO PRODUCE FACTORY AMG EXHAUSTS.

Well it depends, do you drive mostly city or highway?

RPi for pure power, or Riss Racing for power and a throatier sound or AA if you got the cash to go for the full system.

Here is a video we shot of the full exhaust system, keep in mind that the camera was set in a wrong setting and was very distorted. Also the micophone was placed in between the mufflers. Here is the clip

Great sound and dyno numbers from the RPI exhaust. Plus a potential deal on the axle back exhaust from one of the vendors in the sponsor section. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=245336
