Just picked up my M3! Some questions/concerns.

So I just picked up my E92 M3 6MT and it is awesome! I can't believe I did not get one sooner (not like they were out that long anyway haha). Pretty much everything is cherry but my only concern is the rpm drop. Is the flywheel THAT light? Everytime I normally shift the rpm darts down and when I release the clutch again it darts back up and I feel abit of a jerk. Sometimes I offset it with quicker shifts and more throttle etc. Also, sometimes I find myself 3/4 throttling to hear that beautiful V8, I have 2XX miles on it and I 3/4 thottle maybe from 3000 rpm to maybe 4500rpm but no more. I limit myself to 4500. Is there any possible damage I could be doing? We're talking maybe once in a blue moon, not constantly. I baby this thing. Next, full screen Nav? My nav is kind of like a split screen of the same thing, how can I make it full screen with just one??? Thanks for the input guys. Oh and my god these brakes are TOUCHY. Very sensitive but I like.

The RPMs do drop super fast compared to other engines, so if you are trying to shift gently (not hurrying with the shift knob, especially at low RPM) and don't do a throttle blip it'll jerk u a bit from the RPM drop. After 1200mi when you'll be able to rev, from high RPM it's not that noticeable, especially since you'll probably want to shift fast.

Not sure about the nav, since BMW doesn't have maps for Romania, and I haven't driven my car out of the country.

Congratulations on the car. Saw the pics in the photo thread!

Try to shift @ 3000. Seems to have solved the jerky shift for me.
