Has anybody installed the M performance knob with alcantara boot?

Hey guys, I am planning on swapping out shift knobs pretty soon but was wondering if anyone has done this swap: CF M performance knob with Alcantara boot - Looks like it has the white stitching, which could look good with fox red interior, but was thinking of swapping to a red stitching.

I could just buy the performance knob, but from what I have seen, I don't like the look of the ole cut and zip tie the old knob.

I know i'll have to pull the boot off and glue it to the new trim ring as well. Let me know your opinions, thanks!!

Just ordered mine a few days ago. Will post pics post install, seems like a simple but time consuming DIY.

I ordered the f30 perf knob.

From my research, it looks like the "tuck" method is much easier than trying to cut the boot and glue it. Stays put just as good (if not better) too.
