Great news. You guys are lucky and really on the bleeding edge here. As spiritual leader of the M-DCT club you can probably realize how jealous I am in not being in this very first batch. It certainly is not from not getting in line early enough with my dealer. I am scheduled for production week 13. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to have my car share a boat with some of you.

Still waiting at the port. Finished production on the 6th and arrived there some time between then and the 10th. I called my CA monday morning on the 10th and he said I was still waiting for a boat. He said he'd keep me up to date. I guess I just wait now for his confirmation. No reason to bug him as it won't speed up the process...but it sure would help my piece of mind!

Just checked my owners circle it says awaiting transport. Not sure if its on the ship.

If you're not interested in White, Grey, or Black, it looks like you're out of luck on getting a Red on red DCT car built in March. At least according to the list in the OP.

yes, BMW Military Sales official release date for the Mini Clubman, BMW 135, and the M3 is 29 March. So my M3 will just sit in the dealer warehouse until then.

I just confirmed my car is now at the port of exit awaiting for a ship.

Is your car still at the port as well?

When is the next ship coming in to pick up?

I believe it is still there. I might be lucky and catch a K-line ship today coming directly to Charleston, SC. If not then, there is another ship leaving on Tuesday(18th) and 2 more on Wednesday(19th). I better get one of those.

I just read in the May issue of Bimmer magazine, that the DCT will get 1.5 mpg better mileage than the 6MT cars. That may put us out of the GG tax altogether. Not likely perhaps, but I'm hopeful.
