I ended up painting my cross-bar black... so you cannot see it through the mesh.

Here is my post/write up:

I cut back my exhaust!

I took my car into Kelly's Performance & Kustom and had them adjust my RR exhaust. They cut out 3 inches of pipe directly behind the muffler and welded it back together. They also did a quick cut and re-weld of the mounting brackets because of moving everything back 3 inches. I may need to have them re-weld the brackets again because they didn't reach all the way and there is a little too much tension on the rubber hangers. You can feel a little vibration in the car because of it. BUT, it looks really good. My tips now line up flush with the bumper and they raised the tips up a half inch too. The rise eliminated the droopy tip look. The other nice thing about moving everything back 3 inches, is it hides the mufflers a little so they don't jump out at you so much. Everything now flows together when you look at the back of my car.

Yes. It is a little loud inside the car at times, but it is very deep and racy sounding outside the car. The big thing for me is that it doesn't sound like a Mustang which was one of my fears. I didn't want my European car to sound like American muscle. Not that a 5.0 Stang doesn't sound sweet, but I just want my euro V8 to sound more unique.
