KW Sleeve Over Drop

Please could someone confirm the amount of drop at maximum height on this kit. I've just fitted my MS spacers. 18mm front, 15 rear and whilst this has improved the looks there is still too much gap between tyre and wing (fender I think you call it). Actually the rear looks ok. It's just the front that looks wrong. Also my driveway poses a problem if I go too low. So I'm looking for minimal lowering at the rear and a bit more at the front. I'm thinking KW as I want to retain EDC, have some adjustment flexibility and retain a reasonably compliant ride. Advice appreciated as always.

This is with 3 threads left on the rear, and half way down on the front
I am still waiting for it to settle some before raising the rear some more.

That's looking good. Bearing in mind the difficulties I had with my 330 (had to be very cautious getting on and off the drive) I think it will be best for me to go initially with the highest setting on the rear maybe and, like you, half way at the front. How may threads are there? Just wondering how 3 threads left relates to fully "up".
Your car looks really terrific.

I didnt know you could go that low with just a sleeve cup/springs. I recall seeing one all the way down and still a finger gap and looked bad (front). Opted for full coliovers. Only problem I see with your rear that low and front high is blinding oncoming traffic with your HIDs (to Classic6).

OP, I think the sleeve kit will work well for what you want.

at max low, does the comfort edc mode still work well over rough roads? or will there be bottoming out or hitting the bump stops?

I ran mine at max low at first. It was on the bump stops and rode pretty harsh. I asked the shop to set it properly but they f'ed it up and I had to adjust it a few weeks later myself.
Once i raised it an inch and half around it rode nicely but was still much firmer than stock.
I might drop it another 1/2 inch but that's it.

This is max low in front with a couple threads in left in the rear (set to match front fender gap):

At max low in comfort mode, it can hit the bump stops over bridge transitions and such. In Sport Plus, on smooth roads, it rides nice but firm. On rough roads, it does make me cringe.

I def dont want to cringe over rough roads as I drive them frequently. (NY/5 boroughs) What about at max height. I hear they drop the front about .5 at max height, but how is the ride?

Very sexy, Brent. Thanks for posting! I was hoping for no gap on max low. I may need to go another route.

I don't know this with 100% certainty (I've only run them at this height) but with a more mild drop, that should be fine. You'll be able to run in comfort without hitting the bump stops (it only happens to me on one particular bridge transition). It rides nice in comfort even on rough roads (and even this low) but I leave it in Sport Plus because I don't wanna hit the bump stops. That's when it's harsh.

There is no gap really. It's tucking a little bit of the tire actually. If you notice in the pics, you can't see the tread at the top but you can see it the rest of the way around. To go any lower, you'll have to go with full coils ($$$).

Did any of you replace your bumpstops for the sleeve over kit as you would if you did aftermarket springs?

The sleeve over kit comes with shorter bumpstops inside the kit.

Once you lower with this, or any other kit is there a problem setting the tracking up correctly. Do you just use the standard settings?
