It does look great...
Some valid points, but the fact of the matter is I most likely won't be driving in deep snow. My street is right on a bus route so the road gets priority plowing, rarely will I have to drive in any serious snow. After 7 years of winter driving in my E46 M3 with a similar setup it performed super. I will be using my local touchless carwash much more often though!

Lol you can see it's winter as the leaves on the tree have fallen off compared to the summer parking lot pic at the same location

Haha thanks I guess! I wouldn't say it's better but very different. I dig them both!

Funny you mention this. I just got a ticket today for no front plate. -$110. First ticket in almost 2 years (didn't have front plate on my '03 M3 either) which was a pretty long streak. No way I'm drilling holes in the front bumper now..

Drove around today for a good 100kms. Went over some big dips at speed and did quick full lock turns as a test and no rubbing whatsoever so I think I'm good.

looks like a great summer set up with some PS2s. like others have said, my winter set up would look nothing like this. too sporty for winter.

it looks like that your orange cornor lights are gone, did you do any mods on that? I hate those, they are just on forever during the winter time.

Ride height looks spot on, for both set ups.

As a couple of posters have already mentioned, I also like the look of the black wheels on your car, great looking combo. The black wheels look better, IMHO

You mentioned about the lighting conditions in the 'Winter' pics. I reckon they look good, almost gives the car color a flat look, particularly in this pic:

You can get body painted reflectors from virtually any sponser on this forum. I agree the orange reflectors look super ugly. It was the first mod I did and I did the day my car arrived.

After driving on this setup for a couple weeks now there is absolutely no rubbing on full lock turns or even going over pretty big dips at speed, which kind of surprises me as the winter tire has beefy rubber and I'm also on lowered B&G springs.

Oh for sure! The look can change quite a lot depending on lighting. In certain conditions the wheels actually look better when they're dirty as it gives more of a matte finish.

Spacers

Nice!!! Perfect aggressive stance. I had the same set up w/ my zcp's. About a month ago I went another direction with my wheels. If anyone is interested I have a set 12 and 15 mm HR spacers. $125 pick up.

Sorry, maybe I didt make it clear, I was talking about the orange bulb in the corner light, not the orange reflector

Nice setup, why not use those for your summer setup? I heard Tischer is selling official GTS rims now.

Daft,
Did the wheels clear the Brembos easily with no spacers??
How did the set up work with the colder temps and little snow we got in the GTA lately.

I am curious because I just got the same set up and I want to use them for winter, but no spacers.

Thanks.

So how are the M and those tires doing in light snow / ice / slush. As you can see, I live in Denver and I am debating on whether or not it is worth it to get a winter set up like yours. It snows here but most of the time it is 100% gone within 24 hrs.

You make me go back and question if alpine white was the right call

Love the effect of the spacers and how flush the wheels are with the body.
And that rear view ...

Great taste ... very nice mods
