This IMO is a little more tasteful than the original extreme rendering, although it is still pretty extreme. I fixed that extended vent, the line on the side and one of the vents.
The original is the bottom picture. |

I see along of people jumping on to the dislike bandwagon here.
Personally, I think it looks good. Yes, it is extreme but the picture was created with the idea of being the "badest" M3. So naturally in the hypothetical world where this version of the M3 was real there would be a significant power upgrade, suspension upgrade, and weight loss. The front bumper looks like Noble got ahold of it. The rear quarters look like something Ferrari might of tinkered with. If some of the sharp corners (ie, right after the front fender leading to the door, and the edges around the vents in the rear quarters) were filleted and softened then I think it would look pretty sharp. And I bet if it came with a price tag around $150k+ people would buy it. What I see in the OP isn't so OUTLANDISHLY DISTASTEFUL, as some of you are implicating. I could see a lot of the vents that were added being functional. Well, maybe not the side skirt vent.
