According to some other people on this forum the phrase "some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids" is too harsh to use and we should give these parents a break when they have momentary mental lapses......

I'm kinda thinking they shouldn't be allowed to have kids.

The video says he was joking with his kid and put him in there to scare him without knowing the machine had coins in there, or the auto-lock system.

It's clear they weren't doing laundry in the dryer, just washing. Tells me he was just horsing around with his kid, like a good father does from time to time. A bad father would have left him in there. At least he ran for help asap, imo.

That's true. However, I would never do that even for a joke.
