I used to get those lights (DSC/ABS failure) when I had an alignment that resulted in my steering wheel being off center Kept getting a steering angle sensor error. I got an alignment and problem went away but I still have that same code which never goes away, but operationally everything is fine.

You should have the steering angle sensor re-calibrated.

How is that done? Is it a dealer item? I don't see that as an option on the iCarly BMW code reader

Dealer, Indy shop, or someone that can do it remotely.

This wont solve your problem, was telling VictorH.

Your mechanic should be able to determine the problem with those fault codes, and if he can't, then you should find another mechanic.

If your DSC unit is new, you need to make sure that it was coded to the car properly and that the steering angle was initially set.

What if its not?
Then you're going to have errors and issues like you're having now.
