Brake Maintence
I have a 2008 M3 with 30,000 miles. Recently the service light came on for scheduled brake service. Do I really need to to this service with my mileage? If not how can I reset the computer?

Is it the brake fluid service, or the brake pads themselves? There are wear sensors for the pads. It's pretty easy to visually inspect the pads/rotors.

Brake fluid must be changed every 2 years regardless of mileage. Definitely have it changed.

Yes. It's basically one hour of labor.
