E9X M3's have fun at Pacific Raceways

Last Friday was my last track day of the year (sniff). A few of us attended a BMWCCA track day at Pacific Raceways South of Seattle. It was an great day (weather has been incredible in the NW this summer) with ton of driving and little traffic.

Dawgdog and I had some fun on track following each other. Here is my best lap of the day (1:39:48) recorded using Harry's Laptimer. Dawgdog well set-up E92 M3 is in front.

Isn't BMW CCNA hosting another event there on the 5th of October?

Yes, there is another CCA day on 10/5 but I will out of town :-(

Great looking track and nice driving. Looks like a closed backwoods highway at times, not very forgiving, remember seeing that one car go up the bank on an over-correct, but betcha its a ton of fun and you guys are flying out there

Looks like a fun track but those retaining walls look intimidating. Not sure if it's just how the vid is filmed but it looks tight through there.

it isnt as bad as it looks but you do end up right up against the wall in several places at speed if your on the right line.

Yes, I think the video and the high speed make it look more intimidating that it really is. You just have to be careful, that's all :-)

Nice video. That track does look like a lot of fun. Make me appreciate all of the run off on the tracks here in Texas.

Yeah I was there that day and it was pretty comical to see. Driver came back in and had plants hanging out of his front end.
