Driving the car too hard?

After the car warms up, I'm always at 1\2 to full throttle. Not dropping the clutch or anything crazy, but I just cant help myself

Is it bad for the car to always be pushing the engine hard?

I'll bet your gas mileage is pretty poor....of course we didn't buy these cars for their gas mileage....enjoy.

I personally like to start my car up in the cold morning, back it up onto the road and straight redline it in first gear and hold it until the next stop sign 1/2 mile away.

If your oil is at operating temp, nothing wrong with going 1/2 to 1/1 throttle most of the time, but the only place I've been able to do that safely is the track.
