I know Eddie is busy but will get you in if at all possible. Stop by and introduce yourself on Monday.... there looks like there is still room.

Eddie did my inspection today. Which was great that they had time and took care of it last minute.

Your car wasn't back at his shop from the cage builder for the pics.

Curious, do I need to call to pre-register or can I do it at the gate?

You can just show up if you want. I'd get there by 8am though just so you aren't rushed too much. Last time there was quite a line at registration (entrance booth). I'm on the fence if I'm coming out on the 20th. I have one track day left in the next two months according to the wife meter and I want it to be dry.

You'll definitely get a lot of different opinions on helmets. My thoughts: Buy new and current SA2010, go open face unless you want to be more awesome and "more safe", and get what's comfortable on your head.

Personally I tried Bell and Pyrotect and liked the Pyrotect a lot more and it happens to be cheaper. If you're on a budget, Pyrotect is awesome. If you're loaded, get a nice Arai or Simpson. If you have time to order, check out soloracer.com

Usually closed face is better if have airbags since sit so close when driving racecar.

Send richard at mworld an email. You can have them before then. Have you changed pads on the brembo yourself yet?
