3d print the base for the m5 leather shift boot
Thought I'd throw this out there. Anyone with a 3d printer thought to print out an e92 base for the m5 zcp knob so many of us are modifying to fit our cars? Rather than destroying the oem one while doing this mod, maybe someone has already 3d printed the base out before or is up to do a project to do so?

I have a friend with a 3D printer but need to figure out how the whole process works. I guess it needs to be scanned somehow. Given I will at some point have it out of the car may as well separate it out and have it done. From what I read there are shops out there that will do this type of thing for you. No clue on costs at this point. Will post back if I find anything useful.
