Rub Marks
Make sure that you rely on the acetone and not too much elbow grease to remove the decal. If you are totally OCD, you can see where I scrubbed the cheap vinyl too vigorously. It still looks better than the horrendous sticker.

i dont get why people are so bothered about the damn visor warning....
do people stare at it while driving? or is it just me, cause EURO doesnt have one and now we all want to be just like them. I realy dont get it... i wanted to do this when i saw the thread on how to remove that thing... then i looked at it. i was like OK why am i doing this again? realized and left it.. cause i flip that damn visor like once every month. and i could care less if the guy infront of me sees the warning sign... I dont know its just me.

On the vinyl, it was really painless. Acetone on a towel...dab the and saturate the sticker...wait a minute or two...wipe it away. Was very easy. No outline. On the cloth, I'd probably go the hair dryer method over acetone, to avoid the possiblility of staining the cloth.

I don't see the outside of my vehicle while driving, but I got rid of the orange reflectors too. Not like I spent a ton of money and hours of work. $5 at Lowe's, 5-10 min of work. Airbag warnings gone. But hey, to each their own. Enjoy your labels.

LOL!!
I did not like the white/black/yellow thing going on there right by me. It was too easy to get rid of so I did. My car, my preference, no biggie.

Its an Aesthetic thing
Its like switching out stock gills for black gills. People dont do it for functional reasons. You can't even see those when you're in the car.

I know that they changed the visors in the normal 3ers, but the 2011 M3 also has the cheep feeling plastic visors? Not the fabric ones that would match the Anthracite headliner?

Agreed! I will be changing to amber turn signals because I actually like the way they look and think they're safer (and so Euro) and Euro visors because, in addition to being better looking, I think the U.S. visors look out of place in a car of this caliber.
