Help car stuck on 4 post lift

Any garage lift experts on the forum?

Ok guys well I bought a 4 post atlas pro 8000 lift around 7 months ago and about 3 weeks ago it started acting weird. I tried lifting it to get it off the locks so I could lower the FR-S and the lift motor sounded normal but nothing happened. I called the lift store support and they told me to check the release valve. Magically as always when you are trying to show a problem I came out and tried it again and it worked perfectly, the support guy said sometimes debris gets stuck and it needs a purge.

I took the FR-S out and put the porsche on the lift and raised it to the desired height and let the lift rest on the locks taking off the pressure from the hydraulic system. Today i tried lifting the Porsche to get it off the locks so I could lower it and store the FR-S but the lift does not move at all, the motor sounds normal and everything. I tried purging the lift by holding the release valve and up button at the same time but no go, I also checked the release valve to see if it was stuck and its not then i topped it off with a bit more hydraulic fluid but nothing seems to work. Since the early AM i have been letting it rest and trying again but nada the lift wont move at all.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Here are some pics of the lift that i am talking about for reference Atlas Pro 8000 4 post lift:

Note: Merc was not under the porsche when i was trying to lower it.

Could it be that some built-in safety feature of the lift is sensing the Mercedes parked under it and is refusing to lower itself for that reason? My suggestion would be: move the Mercedes and try again.

Forgot to comment, the Merc was not under the car when i tried to lower it. And sadly there is no safety feature if i was dumb enough to do that the Merc would be crushed

Very weird, at around noon today i tried again and it worked normally i put the porsche down and raised the FR-S no problem at all. I really think the lift is possessed by some kind of demon!! I really hope it doesnt screw up again when i try to get the fr-s down for the next track day, it would suck missing a track day because of that. Oh well ill call support again on monday, it sucks because if they send a tech i guarantee i wont be able to replicate the problem.

Good idea man, i just walked outside and pressed the raise button for kicks and its not going up again. Hopefully by the video they can see what is going on, the motor hums normally but there is no action in the pulleys.

I don't know how 4 post lifts work but my friend has a lift in his backyard and if you press the button SLOWLY (or tap the button) it drops fine but if you press it too fast it gets stuck soemtimes too
