Looks sick! I just ordered a set for my SSII E90 from Wheel Sto. I had another set of wheels on order with another vendor that fell through. This thread couldn't have come at a better time for me.

Offsets aren't really rare. Tirerack sells them... They just don't list the 20mm offset for the front wheel under M3 fitment (tirerack is very conservative). If you search under E39 M5 fitment you will see that they stock them. Not trying to be a jerk just wanting to help if anyone is looking to buy them.

Nope, it is a polished edge to the rim.

It is a polished protective ring installed on the edge of the wheel to protect it.

Oh, I did not know that. I knew it wasn't painted. So, can you remove the protective ring so the wheels will be all black then?

Damn, I love these wheels.
I could have sworn I've seen these on an AW M3 on this site before.

Awesome, thanks. Do you ever have 2-3 extra people in the car with you? Do you have rubbing then?

NO rubbing, I have same rear setup w/5mm spacers but my fronts are 19x9.5. It does not rub at any situation. Perfect fitment.
