Tell me about it blah!I am tired of my car(i-drive) whining about the cold temperature. It beeps and tells me the temp is lower than +3.0C how can i make this car man up? lol

Well, I'm usually in T-shirts in winter here in hot west TX, but not last week, when it dropped to -6ºF, with a wind chill of -22ºF for 3 days. Holy cow. A ton of houses and businesses are still without water due to busted pipes. And yes, that's global warming folks, which is not just about getting hotter, but more extreme.

haha its the worst when you scrape your windshield first thing in the morning, and only the first layer comes off. Then you break your back scraping the 2nd layer off. At least we don't experience high humidity and freezing cold like BC/Ontario folk. Our dry winters take the edge off even at -30C.

I was actually debating picking up an E92 M3 but I fear the cold days. -30*C cold. I've found tons of threads where people talk about the M3 being fine in "cold" but not Calgary-cold. Does anyone know what components could be at risk when driving in these conditions? I know on the E46 it's the CCV...
