Are you sure about that? The example there is for a Porsche and not an M3. I talked to them at SEMA and they said this sample was for SEMA and ESSEN to test the feedback and determine if they will make it or not. Did they confirm they will make this cage for the M3 now?

With Ralf's connection to Akrapovic, I'd most likely take his word for it....that has to be one of the best, if not the best, looking roll cage I've ever seen.

I don't think that Fall Line is out of line in using their disclaimer.
First, as a car builder who has constructed track cars for their own team and many others competing professionally in Grand Am and other series, there is absolutely no way to guarantee that any safety equipment installed in any of the cars Fall Line has put together will protect any driver from any crash. Racing is a very dangerous sport, and no matter what safety equipment is available to you, there is a chance that a crash can be harmful or fatal. There is absolutely not a way to guarantee that any piece of safety equipment will protect any occupant from any situation. In addition, the cages built by this company have been tested in some very real world scenarios. The shop even keeps a wrecked E46 M3 chassis on display to show what is possible with a properly constructed roll cage. I believe that Fall Line's expertise in motorsports, and the sound design principles used by their engineer and fabricators make for a very good piece of safety equipment. I would only trust a handful of roll cage builders in the midwest with my life, and Fall Line is certainly among those few.

Coming along nicely Nate! Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but the last pic shows an air filter connected to a piece of hose for the supercharger.
Do you really need to install the air filter that low? Won't that get soaking wet when driving especially in the rain since it's in a low position and exposed right behind the front bumper air duct? My main question is: Is that a good thing when installing an air filter that low and exposed right behind the front bumper bumper air duct? Last edited by e92_m3; 12-06-2010 at 01:03 PM.. Looking awesome! I thought my splitter stuck out far! Sorry about bringing up all that crap about the roll cage. I was just thought it was funny for a safety device to say that on it.
I would trust whoever IND works with, with my life. You guys make amazing projects and if I had the money, you would have had my car from day 1! D |

Ralf it's actually your car! Look in your garage, I think you will find it missing.
It's the standard space gray color. I think that the dark environment made the color look a bit different than it does in person.
