want to feel good and impress you friends= Use Dynojet
want to feel lower= use DD
want a really good/accurate (best IMO)= use a Mustang Dyno
(will still read a little lower but I have only used them in the past and it is really similar to getting a road tune scenario w/ placing load on the car)

Where is the OP-do you not know what is going on or can you not clarify here?
Yes it is. Hotlapped they will pull timing up top where you see it wobbly. Also the shootout mode sets the load different so youll never have a straight line.

A stock catted car has a huge hole in the first part of the curve and then again at 6500.

Ive dynoed over 100 of them.

Basically if the car was revved to 8300 RPM (or higher) and the torque curve stayed relatively flat as it was appearing to, your car would have been making between 410-420 flywheel horsepower, if you do the math that is.

The major error here was the dyno operator not revving the car to peak power.

Yes it absolutely does. Do you own a dyno dynamics? Have you tested over 100 M3's in both modes?

The ramp rate and load inertia is set DIFFERENTLY in both modes.
