Its going to be WAY more than $10k. HPF's kits were not priced poorly.. they require significantly more R&D, have significantly more components and are more complex to install.

in regards to pricing, I was under the impression that turbos were more complex than superchargers. more complexity equals more money, so I wouldn't be surprised if this thing comes with a $15,000+ price tag.

Not really more Complex, really just some more plumbing. Only thing to add is that its twin turbo, so two manifolds and two turbos which add to cost

How much are the new stage 3 TT kits for the 335 going for at Vargas? or the ST kits from Vishnu FFTEC? Can't that be a point of reference?

This thread has generated more legitimate interest and comments than any in awhile. The power of a novel concept, I suppose.

I don't think so, completely different motors, space constraints, and other variables but that's just a guess. I'd say your gonna have to pay to play but it's for sure gonna be worth it

A Hellion twin turbo for a 2012-2013 Ford Mustang is $8500, so figure on about twice that for the BMW given that centrifugal kits for the 2008-2013 BMW M3 are about twice as much as centrifugal kits for the Ford. Much smaller market so less economies of scale.

Then of course there is the 10,000 lb elephant to deal with, HEAT.
Either way i pray its affordable. I just turboed my e46 in december. Im gona sell my e46 just to buy a e92 so i can turbo it. E92 are expensive as it is.. To spend another 25k to turbo, i might as well bought a 911 tt.. But im trying to stay with bmw.. So we will see

"Affordable" is not in the M vocabulary.

Having said that, a nice E92 M3 can be had for $45k. Add the supposed $25k for turbo and you are looking at $70k for a car that will be a very fast car (we all hope).

True.. But when i say affordable i mean within my budget. Its usually around 15k for any entry level kit i have seen associated with a "m". All comes down to if its worth at the end. Power levels and opportunity have to match pricing in my opinion
