ED ordered... Munich June 22nd!

Just pulled the trigger on a 2011 M3 Convertible!

Jerez Black Metallic
Black Novillo Leather
Titanium Shadow trim
19" Light alloy Double-spoke wheels style 220M-with performance tires
M Double-clutch Transmission with Drivelogic
Heated front seats
Navigation system
iPod and USB adapter
BMW Assist with Bluetooth
Park Distance Control (rear only)
Enhanced Premium Sound

MSRP $80305
Sale $70060

36 Month Lease @ 10K/month for 880/month including CA tax.
No cap reduction + $1800 "driveoffs".

Residual on the Convertible is so high for May that payments ended up being lower than for the exact same configured Coupe!

BTW I can confirm that the residual for the convertible M3 was indeed 67% for 36month @10K.

Did anyone get a better deal this month?

I pick up my car on the 28th at the Welt. It's a 2011 Melbourne Red Coupe. We should all try to meet if possible!

I'm actually only going to Munich for the day on 6/22 to sign papers and drop the car off same day. Would have loved to meet up though!

I have to be in Europe for other reasons so totally still made sense to do ED. I am looking forward to the factory tour and seeing how they make a base 3 series in under an hour!!

Lower june MF rates means lower monthly payments. Now down to $839/month!

The wait is killer though...

Looking at your sale price it looks like you got it for close to invoice and then the dealer didn't mark-up the MF too much. Congrats!

Perhaps I should start a new thread but wondering what a good deal for wheel and tire protection would be for my 3 year lease...

I got it through Safeguard on my current e46. I had to file 3 claims and thankfully they covered them all. It wasn't necessarily the best customer service as they tried to get out of it each time but thanks to my persistent SA they had to pay up. But I can definitely relate to the horror stories I've read from others.

BMW has its own in house program too now.

Anybody know what best pricing is with Safeguard and BMW? Are there other underwriters out there that offer better service?

I'm looking at a very similar car. I'm looking at about $773 per month (includes 10% tax)
for 36 months. The lease residuals for the convertibles are even better for June (66% for 12k miles) with a .002 base rate on the money factor.

Note, I'm putting down 7 MSDs to lower the rate by .00049. No down payment. Also assumes a USMSRP of $81,105 and $70,722 ED price ($1200 dealer markup on ED invoice).

That's a great payment IMO.

I got $750 including 9.25% tax. 12k/yr and 7 MSDs (.00181). Everything except DCT and Sirius.
