Attraction in NY recommendation?

I and my wife is at airport for business trip, just wondering what would you guys recommend in newyork?
We will be staying 4 days only
Our hotel is 1.5km away from time square if it helps,
Restaurant, food, view anything is welcome
We plan to take public transportation or cabs if necessary!
Thanks in advance!

Check out Pranna NYC for their sunday brunch. Good food and drinks that usually turns into a party.

See a broadway show, time square is overrated, take a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge, and 53rd and 6th for some chicken and rice!

Gotham Bar & Grill has never let me down. Very nice and classy. Very good food. Be prepared to spend some money but not a lot.

Just so happens to be Zagat rated #1 this year but I have been going there for ages.
