Yea I must admit, I've been quiet on the forums lately. Yea I stored the car for the winter, it's locked in my garage under a car cover. I start it up every 2 weeks and take it for a healthy rip along the QEW. The Escalade is a great winter truck, but I've been thinking of getting rid of it and picking up a used 7 series. What does everyone think about that decision?

I dont drive it once its stored, since salt is usually present on roads, but I guess you get it washed then before you garage it.

Yes thats not a bad idea, what kind of 7 are you looking for?

Get the 760Li, it will have more power, be smooth and get better mileage then the Escalade

Probably looking at getting a 2005 or 2006. Kinda sick of the Escalade. Isn't a 760Li a V12? How can it get better mileage? What year is your 760? Personally I don't like the new ones, I prefer the styling of the last generation 7.

Trust me my LX570 (The BIG Lexus with 5.7L V8) gets worse mileage then the 760Li V12.

The 760Li has better aerodynamics then the SUV boxes we have, Direct Fuel Injection and just does better in fuel managment.

Heres a link with a few pictures of my 760Li, its an individual with a champagne cooler in between the rear seats and active cruise control as well!, enjoy :

Yes its a 2003, but all 2003,2004,2005 (pre-facelift) and even 2006's+ (post-face lift) had the same motor 6.0L V12 at 440hp and 445lbft torque .

They changed it from the 745i/Li to 750i/Li in 2006, because the 4.4L V8 in the 7 series was a disaster!
