I run 2 nozzles in the air filter. Been running it for 3 years. No issues. If money is no object, there is a company that sells horns with meth nozzles so you can have 8, but it is expensive.

My 08 M3 is NA and runs water/meth with the 2 nozzles. My 99M3 is turbo and runs water/meth with 1 nozzle (and has been since it was supercharged 10 years ago) though I am going to 6 nozzle direct port on it this year. I like the Aquamist stuff, like HFS4 or HFS3.

best way is to tap all 8 velocity stacks. through the intake, you are sending meth/water through the heat exchanger in the manifold.

That is a good point on cars with water air intercoolers integrated into the intake manifold like ESS and VF, as opposed to the Evolve and AA air to air systems.

This is what I have.
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...vishnu+procede I had noticed that many of these cars seem to underperform and thought that it may be octane or heat or detonation or timing related, since some have tested higher octane race gas and gained power with no retuning of the ECU. The effect of the water/meth is similar to running 100 octane. The timing target is as high as 37 degrees. Stock is around 32 and is often not met due to conditions. Critical is a computer to control this, with a failsafe and flow sensor to revert timing to stock should the meth stop flowing. The Vishnu has such a computer. Without tuning, you can take only limited advantage of the water/meth. In my turbo E36M3, I use the Aquamist water/meth system only for safety, for octane enhancement, and am not tuned for it. I have been running Aquamist water/meth systems on various cars since 2001. |
