Douchiest Moments

Since owning this car, I've never seen such a level of "doucheness" of the people around me when I drive this car. Latest episode was yesterday when I noticed a e92 328, which I had passed earlier at normal highway speed must've had that Power Ranger like call in his head, "It's Douchebag time!!" and noticed in my rearview mirror started switching in and out of traffic and came barreling down the left lane only to lose almost total control of his car and nearly hit the divider and 2 more cars next to him. And is it me or does every Infiniti G35/37 driver have to act like a complete douche around m3's? Anyone ever have those weird conversations at the gas pump? "Oh is that a BMW? See, I was going to buy one myself, but it uses so much gas, so I bought a Toyota Corolla instead. Gets way better gas mileage (while he smugly wiped his oil dipstick clean.. by himself, which I'm sure is something he's used to doing)".

Anyone else care to share their tales of douchbaggery? I'm sure we all have at least one story.

yea i just had one yesterday on my way to work...

around 5:15pm i pass a X6M on a slower lane. i was going 45 at 101 from calabasas to Los Angeles. right after i passed him... he just floored it like and as soon as he passed me he slowed down... and then looking like he was cool... i swear to god... if i was just in hes passenger....i swear i wanted to slap him so bad....

funny right after he passed me he fawkin slowed down and put hes elbow out and blowing hes cig smoke out the window... LIKE HE WAS COOL...

I'm actually surprised that most people don't even want to mess around.

Except for Cobra's which kick my ass.

I think i am used to it by now.....anytime someone other than me drives my car, they say: "people drive like s!@ around this thing.....get me the f@#$ out of it!

I have never once seen this hapen in my area when I'm driving in my friends cls amg or m3/m5. I really think it has to do with location, or it's just in your head. Although you might get the ocassional pos driver who does drive like a d-bag regardless of what car your'e driving

Last time encountered such douchieness was on Friday night. At a light, 2 lanes and just a head the right lane merges. There is a Toyota Camry in the left lane(first car), my wife in her G37x(second car) behind him and me in the right lane(first car).

Light turns green and I figured I'd let the Camry go so that i could go in front of my wife. Well the Camry sees me go slowly and steps on it a bit... since he wasn't going anywhere, he waited for me to pass him and I do so and that's when he speed up.

this happens to me often when im at a light theres always a honda, volks, mazda, hyundai with a rev guage twice the size of the steering wheel on the dash that launches once the light turns green making a racket... its actually pretty funny i look around and everyone else in their cars has the WTF look on their face lol

I also had an encounter with a 328 guy, stopped at a light it was me and him he quickly glanced over at my car and once the light turned green floored it and started cutting traffic...

50 yr old guys in ford -150's try to race me lol

Definitely seems to happen around here (metro NY and the burbs) with young guys in Infiniti G35/37s--as if they're saying, "Hey, Hey, Look at me!"

In terms of worst/most aggressive overall drivers, besides the 95-lb moms in 6000-lb Escalades, I find old, crappy minivans to be the scariest--aggressive speeding and lanechanging, probably figuring they have nothing to lose.

i always feel that people expect me to drive fast with this car...so i simply cruise control @ 68mph on the far left lane...this, i find, pisses the shit out of most drivers...they tailgate me and then cut me off.....one time i was doing this, i got cut off by a driver doing 80-90mph and just 30 seconds later, he was pulled over by CHP that had just entered the onramp.....it was smiles all the way home

Definitely...Last week some guy in a Dodge Challenger started revving his engine next to me at the light and then floored it. He actually caught some air going over a big bump like a dumbass.... Didn't even waste my time.

Well that's not cool. When I'm in the left lane I try to be the second fastest travelling car within sight, if somebody wants to go faster I get over and let them pass... pretty much left lane as passing only. I can't stand people going slower than me in the fast lane, I believe in proper left lane etiquette.
