Solid mounts/bushings review
I took delivery of a 2008 M3 on Monday. On Tuesday, it started its transformation into a full-blown race car for NASA and BMWCCA club racing.
Since I wanted to drive it on the street a little bit, I started with some mods that would keep it street legal. They included: Turner solid aluminum subframe bushings Turner solid aluminum diff bushings Bimmerworld solid motor and trans mounts I've only driven the car a few miles since the changes, but BEWARE... These mods are NOT street friendly! Please don't think that if they're good for a race car, that they're good for a street car. The car is now loud, tight, and vibrates like a pissed-off hive of bees. I'll be driving the car on the street this weekend, and then the gutting begins... |

Wow, I can only imagine what that feels like.
I bet it's primarily due to those Solid Transmission and Diff Mounts! After seeing what you did with your E46, I cannot wait to see the great accomplishments you'll be achieving with your E92. Keep us posted. It'll be exciting to see E92s battling it out in NASA. Are you aiming for GTS4?
